The article verified the conformity of gradation coal seams into three groups according to their endogenous fire hazard, regulatory documents, with actual conditions accidents that have occurred over past twenty years during development 66 Donetsk basin. degree metamorphism coals considered seams, where fires or they were absent, was estimated in terms release volatile matters index thermal decomposition without air access (Vdaf).
